The problem is spike from dual shot. To counteract this, run a Frenzy Spirit Bonder or one with (i believe) either of the Resistance Mantras.

Well the spikes aren't bad at all a 55 necro can handle them with vigorous spirit and a monk can with just divine favor. just use any troll 55 build and it works. The SoJ also makes the spikes hardly worth noticing as they are knocked down every time they would have to be chancely synchronized.

Yeah but the problem is that there are avicara guiles and they will remove ur enchs.

So are there areas where are only warrior and ranger avis?

Watch out for the Guilies... as they rip enchants.

Also, bring mantra of resolve to avoid getting interrupted by savage slash.

U really Just have to run around alot and just choose the ones without Guiles, as I have noticed they can be anywhere with avicari. No one particular place for just Braves, Fierce, and Wise. I wish but as stated while farming trolls there is a alot that can be done out there Giants, Grawl, (Just dont attack The Crones Aggro only) They Strip up close, And Avaicari.

Happy Farming

avicara fierce uses fire dmg with ignite so ele wouldnt work with spirit bond, i just use neither and take off my chest and arm pieces. works fine for me, i tanked like 10 fierce/brave and like 4 wise and had no problem.

it doesnt trigger ignite, but the amount the others deal with ele resistance should overheal the amount of damage you get from ignite. ive been farming them with ele resistance having my full armor on, and it really aint a problem. >_> and i dont even have a prob with the guiles, i think they only strip one, and that is with their well? i dunno, but it never really killed me. watch your enchants and recast..boo! if it actually is the well, move away from corpses always do, thats why i dont even know which well it is v.v

my prob is that even with only 1 peice of pre searing 5 al armor dual shot dosnt always strike for over 60 usually 56 or around that and it ends up being lethal.

I don't really have problem with them the brave or fierce I do watch out for guile though.I would just like to be able to take out those Ice Imps and Golems.

The best place to farm Avicara is Mineral Springs. You have to go through Tasca's Demise (another excellent farming spot) first. Just be wary of the 3-4 Heretics by the Mineral Springs portal, they will strip all your enchantments. Mineral Springs is great because there are many groups solely comprised of fierces and braves. BUT, be careful, because you will be overwhelmed by too many Fierces. The best thing to do, although it increases your farming time, is use the terrain as cover. Lure a group, and use hills, etc. for cover. There is one group that easily has 15 avicara fierces. They will kill you since you won't be able to handle so much spike damage. In this situation, use the terrain to negate 5-6 fierces and their attacks. Also, watch for Braves' interrupt. Do something else that you can afford to get interrupted. Blessed signet is perfect for this, since it takes a few seconds to fire off, giving Braves ample time to interrupt it. Once they get their interrupt out the way, use the proper skills. Nothing is worse than getting SoJ interrupted =(.

I used to solo Mineral all the time and occasionally go back for grins. Don't even bother with the Guiles with a SoJ build as you will never kill them. They hardly do any melee/wand attacks so your defensive-offense becomes pretty useless.

Anyways once you get to mineral get your enchants up quick for 55'in and take out the first 4-8 that will rush you. You need to be fast as they can get on you quick. After that it's smooth sailing for the rest. The rez portal is right there by the zone-just die a few times and get a nice DP going on (don't die next to the rez portal though unless you wanna get mobbed right when you rez), then try to keep your HP less than ~30 or so using combinations of your -20 icon, -50 icon, and minor-runed equipment. Be quick on the equipment/icon swaps as you kill stuff to keep your HP low as your DP decreases. If the fierces get thier attacks timed right it's insta-gib if you have more than 40-50hp, but if you happen to die again-no biggie-just keep trucking along doing more of the same. I use a Mo/R for mineral springs/IDS runs and it works great. It's something like:

Prot Spirit
Healing Breeze
SoJ {E}
Serpents Quickness
Storm Chaser
Mending
Blessed Aura
Bath's Spirit

You want Max Smite, enough divine to give you ~25% longer enchants, ~18 sec Prot Spirit,a full 10 pip hp regen from mending/breeze, and leftovers in Wilderness (should be level 2 or 3, whatever gives you +2 energy with elemental damage when Storm Chaser is up). I do headpiece swaps when casting maintained enchantments to get the most out of my attribs.

Activate Serpents Quickness, cast SoJ, then aggro. Don't worry about wasting precious SoJ up-time: With 20% longer enchants from your Sword/Axe and 25% Blessed Aura your SoJ should be ready to re-cast BEFORE it runs out (that is with the 33% increased skill regen from Serpents Quickness). Since SoJ is still up when you are re-casting it you will have a better chance of avoiding Savage Slash from the Braves. If SoJ is not up and you need to recast it just kite a little and then cast and that usually avoids the savage slashes. You end up getting 60+ seconds of constant SoJ (two 45% longer casts back-to-back).

Storm Chaser at +2 energy per elemental dmg is excellent energy management when fighting the Fierce with Ignite Arrows+Dual Shot. Also you need it to break aggro on the Tasca's Running part to Mineral. If proceeding to the IDS run you will also find it useful fighting Ice Imps/Golems for energy management. It's not 100% fool proof and takes some practice but it's very effective once you get the hang of it. I'd suggest taking the southern path (for the closer rez portal) for IDS runs until you get the hang of the build.

A cookie cutter 55 Mo/W with bonetties and the rest works well too, but personally I like the 55 Mo/R for mineral springs as it kills faster. I have some video's of this build in action but haven't gotten around to posting it yet (amongst other builds I run).
